Description
Sails recovered from modern Maxi Yachts are used to make custom shade sails. These tarpaulins serve as a parasol. The fabric is a membrane reinforced with Dyneema®, which is an incredibly strong and ultra-lightweight fiber used in areas that demand extreme strength. The Dyneema membrane of these candles is reinforced with aramid and carbon fibers. This backlit material is spectacular, as it provides both a dense shade and a beautiful texture effect through which natural or other lighting is dimmed, offering an appearance reminiscent of traditional natural heather roofs.
This material can be subjected to a flame-retardant treatment, thus obtaining the classification C-s2, d0, of the Euro Code suitable for indoor use.
Each space is different and determining the shape, dimension and type of support of shade sails can be somewhat complex, therefore, at Dvelas we have a team of architects and designers who work in unison to guarantee our clients technical support, based on images and dimensions provided by the client, through which we propose possible solutions in 3D format to visualize the optimal installation. Manufacturing is carried out in our own workshop, ensuring rigorous process control and coordination between design and production.
DVELAS certifies that all its products are made with recovered sails whose details of origin (the ship of origin, its port of origin, the type of sail and the original manufacturer) are identified on a sewn label, as well as accompanied by an original certificate.
APPROXIMATE PRICE: 95€/m2. The final cost will depend on the final technical characteristics of the
every shading project. Includes carabiners, pulleys, ropes, cancamos, cleats, etc. Excludes masts, footings and structures.
Shade sails incorporate different types of fastening depending on the need and use.
The price of the furling mechanism for the furling sun shade sail is 1400€
– Fastening by means of a simple tension system (38€): Lifting system to bring the glider fastening to any point by means of a pulley. It consists of a pulley attached to a bridge by a shackle, a rope with a carabiner.
– Clamping with tension system with gear ratio (85€): Gear ratios allow us to multiply by three the force exerted when pulling the rope. This system consists of a lashing pulley attached to an eye bolt by a shackle and a double pulley attached to the sail by a shackle.
– Mast fastening to the ground (247€): The mast can be fastened to the ground by means of an anchor piece screwed to a concrete slab of at least 15 cm thickness or a 60x60x60 cm concrete footing.
– Connecting mast (140€): Sometimes it is convenient to cut the mast for transport, however, it can be joined by means of an internal connecting piece.
– Four-rail mast (140€): DVELAS has designed its own mast that incorporates four rails of variable height and that allow the height of the sail to be quickly modified, as well as allowing several sails to be held at the same time.
– Fastening of mast to wall (212€):By means of steel plates we can attach the mast to a wall and modify its orientation.
– Clamping by means of tensioner system with fixed tensioner (65€): It consists of a tensioner attached to an eyebolt by means of
* DVELAS makes it possible to adapt the fabric to different existing structures. Each new project is an exciting challenge with which we grow and learn, giving the different spaces a unique personality thanks to the flexible, lively and distinctive character that marks our sails. Do not hesitate to contact Ekohunters with the specifications of the project.
* They have several treatments:
– Flame retardant treatment Cs2d0 classification
-ECOSAIL treatment of air cleaning. It reacts to sunlight by breaking down polluting gases and generating oxygen.
